Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting catering orders safely and efficiently to various locations while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to designated locations throughout the GTA
- Load and unload items from company vans
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods, verifying orders against delivery manifests
- Assist with picking up equipment from catered events
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery area
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or delivery discrepancies promptly
Skills
- Experience with navigating core of Toronto and comfortable with delivering to downtown loading docks
- Ability to receive orders by email
- Strong customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients
- Able to read and adhere to delivery schedules
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely during loading and unloading processes
- Commercial driving experience is required
- Good organizational skills to manage routes efficiently and meet delivery deadlines
This role is vital in ensuring timely, safe, and professional delivery services while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
