Job Summary:
East Coast Sheet Metal are one of the biggest HVAC and General Mechanical contractors based in Atlantic Canada, and have been executing large commercial ventilation projects since 1987.
We are seeking skilled Sheet Metal and Ventilation installer or experienced Skilled Trades in any field to join our team.
The successful candidate will have working knowledge of sheet metal, installation, commercial and residential ductwork / ventilation practices. The successful candidates will have a wiliness to learn and be able to adapt indifferent situations.
Responsibilities:
- Site installation of Ductwork and all HVAC equipment and Ventilation distribution items (such as Grilles & Diffusers, Exhaust Fans, Air Handling Units, Fire dampers, etc.)
-Receive materials on site and store properly
-Follow company safety policy, work procedures & company policies described in this handbook
-Ensure others follow Safety Policies & Procedures
-Keep track of materials and advise Site Forman when material is low
-Keep work area safe & clean
-Ensure all tools are maintained report any damages to your site foreman
-Provide small tools as laid out in this handbook
-Ensure Quality Installation of the HVAC System on site
-Encourage Team work and learning environment
Qualifications:
- Experience designing and installing fully ducted systems heating, cooling and ventilation systems in commercial
- Experience ducting heat pump, air handlers and ducted concealed units
- Ambitious, detail-oriented, friendly, willing to learn/adapt, and works well in a team environment
- Class 5 Drivers License
