Duties
- Diagnose hardware and software issues on mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and laptops across various operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
- Perform repairs on mobile devices and laptops, including replacing components using hand tools and schematics for precise troubleshooting.
- Conduct software troubleshooting to resolve operating system errors, application conflicts, and connectivity problems.
- Disassemble and reassemble devices carefully to access internal components while maintaining device integrity.
- Test repaired devices thoroughly to ensure functionality, durability, and customer satisfaction before returning them to users.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic steps taken for quality control and future reference.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in mobile technology, hardware components, and repair techniques to provide expert service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of operating systems including Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows.
- Proficiency with computer hardware components and the ability to interpret schematics for troubleshooting.
- Experience with retail sales environments is a plus, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Skilled in using hand tools for delicate device disassembly and repair tasks.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues quickly and develop effective solutions.
- Familiarity with software troubleshooting procedures for mobile devices and laptops.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong analysis skills to ensure high-quality repairs.
