Structured Cabling Technician
We are looking for an experienced technician for the installation of structured cabling systems including CAT5 and CAT6 as well as single and multi mode fiber optic cabling in various commercial/industrial environments.
Projects range from small one or two cable jobs working alone to long term large projects working as part of a team.
The right candidate for the position should have the following:
- experience in installing copper cabling and fiber optic systems.
- experience in testing and troubleshooting copper and fiber optic systems
- valid driver's license
Most projects are within the Winnipeg and surrounding area but some travel may be required from time to time.
Working hours may vary but mostly during normal business hours although some weekends and night shifts may be needed if required for specific projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
