Relief Pharmacist — Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Relief Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will primarily provide coverage for staff vacations, scheduled days off, and other occasional staffing needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for a flexible position, with the potential to transition into regular, fixed days in the future based on performance, reliability, and the needs of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, professional, and patient-focused pharmacy services.
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently.
- Counsel patients and address medication-related questions.
- Perform medication reviews and other clinical services as appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with pharmacy assistants and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy standards and regulations.
- Maintain a high standard of patient care and customer service.
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently.
- Previous community pharmacy experience is an asset.
