Bar Manager - Port Stanley Brewing Co.
Port Stanley Brewing Co. is looking for a Bar Manager to join our growing team.
We're seeking an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines team management, service excellence, operational oversight, and a love of craft beer.
What You'll Do
- Lead and support bartenders, servers, and support staff during service
- Ensure outstanding guest experiences and uphold service standards
- Assist with scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management
- Manage daily bar operations including opening, closing, cash handling, and inventory
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with AGCO and health regulations
- Monitor labour and assist with staffing decisions
- Support events, live music, special programming, and seasonal initiatives
- Handle guest concerns professionally and effectively
- Work closely with ownership and management to help grow the business
What We're Looking For
- Previous bar, restaurant, or hospitality management experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure
- Experience with inventory management and ordering is an asset
- Smart Serve certification (required)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A positive attitude and team-first mindset
- Passion for craft beer and hospitality
