At CCS, fundraising volunteers are vital because the vast majority of our organizational funding comes from donations by everyday Canadians through fundraising activities and events.
Our annual Daffodil Campaign mobilizes Canadians from coast to coast, raising funds for work aimed at helping people live longer and improving the lives and experiences of those affected by cancer. The Daffodil Pin is a recognized symbol that is worn in April to raise awareness around cancer issues and show outward support for those living with cancer.
The Area Lead will manage a team of Site Coordinators and work with the Campaign Planning and Support volunteer (s) to ensure both a successful campaign and supportive experience for volunteers.
