Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Dye Cleaner looking for full time employement. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and proper handling of dyed fabrics and textiles, ensuring high standards of hygiene and quality.
Core Responsibilities
- Tool Maintenance: Disassemble, clean, and reassemble dies, vacuum tanks, and related tooling.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect dies for wear, defects, or blockages, and check that parts balance and align properly to print specifications.
- Repairs: Drill, tap, and remove broken screws or bolts, repair damaged components.
- Inventory Control: Maintain stock of consumable tooling supplies like heater plates, adaptors, and thermocouples.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to strict safety regulations (e.g., wearing PPE and working in hot environments).
- Experience: 1–3 years in a manufacturing or tooling environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency using hand and power tools (drills, grinders, taps).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods.
- Communication: Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with machine setters, operators, and quality supervisors.
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
