Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and scheduling team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling procedures to maintain quality standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
- Monitor daily restaurant operations to optimize efficiency, including supervising serving staff and kitchen personnel.
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols, including food safety practices.
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling costs.
- Foster a positive team environment through leadership, motivation, and effective communication.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of the restaurant to meet health code standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality leadership with supervising experience.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry standards.
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS; cash handling experience is essential.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
