Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Mover to join our residential moving team. The ideal candidate has previous moving experience and is confident handling furniture, household goods, and leading a small crew on moving jobs. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The successful candidate will help ensure moves are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Load and unload residential household goods from the moving truck safely and efficiently
- Wrap and protect furniture using moving blankets, shrink wrap, and other materials
- Lead and coordinate with crew members during residential moving jobs
- Perform a walk-through with customers before and after the move
- Handle furniture and fragile items with care to prevent damage
- Place furniture and boxes in the requested locations at the destination
- Maintain organization of items inside the moving truck
- Ensure all customer belongings are transported safely and accounted for
- Provide professional and friendly customer service during the moving process
- Follow safety procedures while lifting, carrying, and loading heavy items
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of professional moving experience (required)
- Ability to lead a small moving crew on residential moves
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs or more repeatedly
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
- Experience with furniture protection and proper loading techniques
- Customer service experience is an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
