For over 26 years, LA Collection Bridal & Formal Fashions has been serving brides, graduates, and families in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and across Western Canada.
With an impressive 8,000 sq. ft. showroom and one of the largest selections of bridal and formal fashions in Manitoba, LA Collection has established itself as one of Western Canada’s leading bridal and formalwear destinations.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager who wants more than just a job — someone interested in building a long-term career with us.
For the right person, there is excellent potential to advance into a senior management role and eventually take responsibility for much of the store’s day-to-day operations.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, motivate, coach, and train our sales team
- Provide exceptional customer service and lead by example on the sales floor
- Help achieve individual and store sales goals
- Assist with daily store operations and staff scheduling
- Delegate tasks and keep the store running smoothly during busy periods
- Professionally handle customer questions, concerns, and complaints
- Maintain high standards of store presentation and customer experience
- Work closely with the owners and gradually take on greater management responsibility
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of retail supervisory or management experience
- Strong leadership, sales, and customer-service skills
- Mature, dependable, confident, and professional
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Organized and able to stay focused in a busy retail environment
- Positive, energetic, self-motivated, and willing to take initiative
- Interest in fashion, style, and current trends
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Desire to grow into greater management responsibility
Experience in fashion, luxury retail, jewelry, cosmetics, bridal, or another customer-focused retail environment is an asset.
Previous bridal experience is NOT required. Training will be provided.

Schedule
Full-time position. Candidates must be available to work Saturdays and some evenings as required.
