The Opportunity
As the Business Development Manager, you will focus on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding Chigisoft’s client base within the Canadian market.
This role is ideal for someone who already has a strong professional network and is comfortable speaking with business owners, executives, and operations leaders about efficiency, AI readiness, automation, ROI, and growth.
Chigisoft offers a market-leading 25% commission on closed contracts. With average custom software and AI integration contracts often valued in the tens of thousands of dollars, this opportunity offers strong uncapped earning potential for the right person.
What You Will Do
- Leverage your existing network to identify mid-market companies, SMBs, and enterprise clients that may benefit from AI automation, custom software, CRM integrations, or digital transformation support.
- Introduce qualified prospects to Chigisoft’s technical team.
- Schedule and participate in initial discovery meetings.
- Manage your own pipeline, schedule, and sales strategy.
- Build relationships with C-suite executives, business owners, operations managers, and other decision-makers.
- Collaborate with Chigisoft’s marketing team on targeted campaigns, lead generation, and brand awareness.
- Lead sales conversations and support negotiations to align client needs with Chigisoft’s services.
- Close high-value technology consulting, software development, and AI integration opportunities.

Who You Are
- Experienced in B2B sales, ideally with 3-5+ years selling technology, software development, IT staffing, SaaS, consulting, or corporate services.
- Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with the ability to operate independently.
- Comfortable managing your own pipeline and sales process.
- Credible and confident when speaking with senior decision-makers.
- Able to identify business pain points and connect them to technology-based solutions.
- Equipped with your own laptop, phone, CRM or sales tracking system, and remote work setup.
- Existing network in Western Canada or the broader Canadian business market is considered an asset.
Compensation
This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor opportunity. There is no base salary.
Chigisoft offers a 25% commission on closed contracts, with uncapped earning potential. Custom software, AI automation, CRM integration, and digital transformation projects may range into the tens of thousands of dollars depending on scope and client needs.
