Your Role in Supporting Our Members:
As a Senior Specialist, Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in bringing Vancity’s brand to life in the places our members experience it most directly. Working from an established kit of branded elements, you will help shape how our spaces come together in a way that feels warm, inviting, and intentionally curated.
This role goes beyond execution. It requires a thoughtful eye for detail and a passion for creating environments that feel cohesive and human. You will oversee and coordinate a range of initiatives, exploring opportunities to enhance our spaces through thoughtful merchandising and finishing touches that elevate the overall member experience.

This is a full-time, 12 month contract hybrid role and will report directly to the Manager, Marketing. While this position provides a hybrid work arrangement, you will be expected to visit branch locations and be on-site for events and business demands.
How You'll Make an Impact:
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of brand initiatives in physical spaces, including the installation of established branded elements across branches.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and elevate spaces through thoughtful merchandising and curated in-branch experiences .
- Translate brand standards into environments that feel welcoming, cohesive, and reflective of Vancity’s values.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.
- Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support seamless delivery across a network of locations.
- Bring a strong attention to detail to ensure all elements come together in a polished and intentional way.
- Gather feedback and insights to continuously refine and improve how our brand is experienced in physical spaces.
- Support a range of additional brand initiatives and smaller-scale activations, applying the same care and attention to detail to ensure consistency and cohesion across all brand touchpoints
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Proven experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Experience translating brand strategies into physical or experiential environments (such as retail, merchandising, or branch design)
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- A strong lens on member or customer experience, with a passion for creating meaningful, human-centred interactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to apply standards and escalate risks appropriately

- Experience in retail merchandising, environmental design, or multi-location brand execution
- Experience within the financial services or credit union sector
- Experience coaching or mentoring team members

What You’ll Earn:
This role offers a salary range of $76,500 to $94,500 per annum. The base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as relevant qualifications, skills, previous experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards package, employees may also be eligible for our annual incentive program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
