Position Summary: We are seeking a responsible candidate to perform a variety of Quality Support duties to support our R&O and Manufacturing Departments. Duties include but are not limited to performing Root Cause Analysis, controlling and managing data within an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, developing and delivering training, working with data in computer-based systems, and reviewing technical documents for impact on our processes.
Duties:
· Root Cause Analysis, including Corrective and Preventative Actions
· Work with information in databases and software systems
· Review technical data
· Support creation of departmental documents
· Develop and distribute training records
· Support quality for R&O and Manufacturing Departments
· Comply with and support the Quality Assurance Program
· Other duties as assigned by manager
Skills:
· Attention to detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Strong organizational and technical skills
· Experience with performing Root Cause Analysis
· Ability to read and comprehend technical documents
· Ability to liaise internally and externally on quality matters
· Computer skills including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Experience working within an ERP system (such as Quantum Control) is desirable
· Understanding of Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulations is desirable
· Understanding of aircraft quality standards – AS9100, AS9110, AS13100 or ISO9000 is desirable
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
· 1-2 years of experience in quality or aerospace would be considered an asset
· Lean and Six Sigma certifications would be considered an asset
· Diploma/Certificate in Quality or Records Management would be considered an asset.
· Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident of Canada
· Must have a valid passport
