Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated HR Generalist to support a broad range of Human Resources functions. This role will oversee recruitment, timecard and attendance tracking, compliance, and HR policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: posting jobs, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, conducting reference checks, and onboarding.
- Provide support on performance management processes, including probation reviews, and goal setting.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, internal HR policies, and labor standards.
- Support organizational change, workforce planning, and process improvements.
- Provide guidance to employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations and provide HR advisory support to managers and staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of progressive HR experience is the minimum.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices in Ontario.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion with sensitive matters.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required.
