Sweet Hereafter is looking for friendly, reliable servers to join our team.
This is a customer-facing role focused on creating a welcoming experience for both dine-in and takeout customers. Our servers handle everything from helping customers choose their cheesecake to plating dine-in orders and preparing takeout boxes.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take customer orders and process payments
- Plate and serve cheesecake and other menu items for dine-in customers
- Prepare and box takeout orders
- Take and organize pre-orders for pickup
- Answer customer questions about flavours, products and availability
- Keep the display, front counter and customer areas clean and organized
- Clear and clean tables throughout the shift
- Complete regular cleaning and sanitizing duties
- Restock supplies, packaging and front-of-house items as needed
- Help with opening and closing duties
- Work with the rest of the team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods
What We’re Looking For

- Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a small team
- Organized and attentive to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to help with cleaning and general shop duties when not serving customers
Previous serving, café or customer service experience is an asset, but we’re happy to train the right person.
Servers receive tips in addition to their hourly wage.
Pay: $16.75 per hour
