Best Western Kingston is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper / Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you’ll help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel while supporting and guiding the housekeeping staff. You’ll take pride in creating a welcoming environment for every guest and ensuring our rooms meet Best Western’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the housekeeping team to ensure all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned to brand standards.
- Inspect rooms and report any maintenance or quality issues to management.
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and common areas as needed.
- Help train new team members and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.
- Organize daily work assignments and manage housekeeping supplies.
- Communicate effectively with the front desk and management regarding room status and guest needs.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while promoting teamwork and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Previous housekeeping and/or supervisory experience in a hotel environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to lead by example and motivate a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends or holidays when needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.10 per hour
