Overview
We are seeking solder positions to join a growing cable assembly company for the Pro Audio and Entertainment Industries. The ideal candidate will have a basic knowledge of audio, video, data and power cables. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a calm environment where attention to detail is highly valued. Candidates must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and have an understanding of general manufacturing processes and be comfortable working with hand tools and power tools.
Responsibilities
- Follow Build of Materials to ensure correct connectors are used on each assembly
- Solder audio connectors to prepped copper cable
- Solder resistors to cable leads
- Strip cable jacket following specs required for each different assembly. Dip / Tin cable leads prior to soldering
Requirements
- Must be able to sit for up to 8 hours. Have the ability to use a solder iron for soft solder applications. Be comfortable around an active solder pot and using cable cutters, strippers and picks. Able to lift up to 20lbs.
Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
