Position: Medical Office Assistant (MOA)
Location: Penticton, BC

Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner
- Schedule appointments and manage physician calendars
- Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries
- Register patients and maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Process referrals, correspondence, and medical documentation
- Coordinate diagnostic testing and patient flow
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
- Assist with billing and insurance-related tasks as required
Qualifications
- Medical Office Assistant certificate or equivalent experience preferred
- Previous experience in a medical, ophthalmology, or healthcare setting is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
- Proficiency with computers and electronic medical records
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused attitude
