A Bread Affair is a certified organic artisan bakery located on Granville Island and Langley. Rooted in community, agriculture, and the Pacific coast, our baking reflects the unique combination of soil, climate, and craft that defines Vancouver. We are not a French bakery or an Italian bakery. We are of this place, Vancouver. Our work is grounded in West Coast values: sustainability, responsible sourcing, and certified organic ingredients. We stand against industrial food production, GMOs, and factory farming, and support humane and ethical practices in everything we do. We believe food should be personal. A Bread Affair is looking for a Full-Time Team lead for our nighttime packing team. Are you a night owl and have great attention to detail? This opportunity would be perfect for you. Become a part of a busy team packing orders for our customers each night. Shifts begin at 9pm each night and are generally about a 5 to 6-hour shift . We do operate 7 days a week so weekend availability would be expected.

Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all nightly fulfillment operations
- Coordinate the sorting, packaging, and staging of customer orders
- Ensure all orders are completed accurately and on schedule
- Oversee inventory and ordering of department supplies.
- Load orders on trucks and ensure they are dispatched accurately and on time
- Perform quality-control checks to maintain product standards
- Manage and support a team of fulfillment staff throughout each shift
- Create and maintain employee schedules
- Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and payroll submissions
- Train, coach, and onboard new team members
- Provide regular performance feedback and support employee development
- Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment
- Communicate operational updates and issues to management
- Prepare daily production and fulfillment reports as required
- Ensure compliance with company policies and food-safety procedures
- Perform other related duties and tasks as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in manufacturing or food production
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
- Strong Leadership Skills
- Problem Solving Skills
- Attention to Detail
- Organization Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Proficiency with computers and common workplace software
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
