We are seeking an individual in the role of Skilled General Labourer to join our team of highly skilled professionals. The candidate’s responsibilities include assisting our building superintendents, in a general handyman role while following all site health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide and operate a range of hand tools and equipment for work
- Complete general maintenance work; including minor electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, caulking tubs, sinks and tile, drywall and paint repairs (sanding and patch work); and other general maintenance and repair tasks
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations
Qualifications
- 1-2 years in a maintenance role
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and own vehicle for transportation to and from project sites
- Must have own hand tools
- Reliable, organized, and tidy
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential
- Ability to perform in a collaborative, team-based environment
- Strong communication skills are required to coordinate with head office and building superintendent
