Senior Assembler / Mechanical Technician

Are you a hands-on mechanical professional with experience assembling and working with heavy-duty equipment used in the aggregate, mining, or bulk material handling industry?
We are looking for a Senior Assembler / Mechanical Technician to join our in-house team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, equipment assembly, troubleshooting, and working with complex industrial machinery.
Shift Options
Day Shift:
Afternoon Shift: 10-hour shifts | 4 days per week
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, test, and troubleshoot heavy-duty equipment
- Perform mechanical assembly and maintenance of industrial machinery
- Work with conveyors, stackers, hoppers, belt feeders, crushers, and screening equipment
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Perform functionality testing of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components
- Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
- Ensure equipment is assembled safely, accurately, and according to specifications
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Experience working with heavy industrial equipment
- Experience in aggregate, mining, material handling, or a similar industry is an asset
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and blueprints
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
