Cloud Ops Engineering
Position Summary
On behalf of our client, a global leader in secure digital identity and access management (IAM) solutions, we are seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join the Cloud Operations organization. This is a high-impact role supporting mission-critical, large-scale IAM cloud platforms operating under strict security and compliance requirements.
The Cloud Ops Engineering team is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, automation, and continuous improvement of production cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP. This role emphasizes cloud-native operations, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and the adoption of AI-assisted operations (AIOps) to improve service quality and operational efficiency.
- 5+ years operating cloud-based production systems
- Strong Kubernetes orchestration experience
- Hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code expertise
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab)
- AWS or GCP experience
- Scripting and automation (Python, YAML, JSON, Bash)
- Experience with observability tools
- Strong Linux knowledge
- Infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
- Kubernetes platforms including EKS, GKE, OpenShift, and Helm
- Monitoring, logging, and alerting using Datadog
- Operate and support production-grade, highly available IAM cloud services
- Ensure platform availability, performance, resilience, and security
- Participate in L2/L3 incident response, root-cause analysis, and post-incident reviews
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes-based platforms (EKS, GKE, OpenShift)
- Implement observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Support AIOps initiatives including anomaly detection and predictive analytics
- Develop automated remediation and self-healing workflows
- Support cloud databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB, and Elastic
- Produce operational documentation, runbooks, and design documents
- Collaborate with Automation Architects, SREs, and R&D teams
- Experience with AIOps platforms or ML-assisted monitoring
- AI-assisted DevOps or Cloud Operations exposure
- IAM experience
- Experience working in regulated environments
- ITIL or COBIT familiarity
- Experience in globally distributed teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
