Interior Systems Mechanic Apprentice
Dunam Drywall is seeking a motivated and dependable Interior Systems Mechanic Apprentice to join our team. We are a busy contractor specializing in drywall installation and finishing, steel stud framing, T-Bar ceilings, insulation, and fireproofing. Our primary focus is commercial construction, with residential projects completed as required.
Job Type:
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9–10 hour shifts
- Occasional weekend work based on project requirements
Responsibilities:
- Assist with drywall installation and finishing
- Install steel stud framing and T-Bar ceilings
- Assist with insulation and fireproofing applications
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
- Experience using power and hand tools
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Ability to lift 60 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation to local job sites
- Basic hand tools required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous construction experience
- Experience with drywall, framing, ceilings, insulation, or related trades
