We are hiring a Systems Analyst
1 Permanent position: 35 hours per week, evening hours and weekends may be required.

Salary range: $56,444-$68,429 *This represents the first and last step of a 7-step salary grid. Candidate experience and internal equity will be considered when determining the starting salary
Location: The CMHA home office for this role is Newmarket, located at 1101 Nicholson Road, Unit 5, Newmarket, ON L3Y 9C3. The incumbent will be required to travel to other CMHA Offices in York Region and South Simcoe.

Purpose of the Position:
The Systems Analyst is responsible for managing the technical aspects of the existing operations and for project managing the new initiatives and changes.
This position is responsible for project management, vendor management, architecting existing and proposed solutions, managing communication systems, managing IT operations, and training IT personnel on policies and procedures.
Duties:
- Analyze and recommend hardware/software solutions to resolve business issues and improve efficiency.
- Monitor and manage virtual environments, network infrastructure (LAN/WLAN), and software applications.
- Ensure security and maintenance of hardware/software through patches, upgrades, and service contracts.
- Collaborate with IT and People & Culture for onboarding/offboarding of staff, students, and contractors.
- Provision and configure mobile devices, desktops, and peripherals for new users.
- Manage phone systems and provide support through the ServiceDesk system.
- Provide technical leadership for small to medium IM/IT projects, including after-hours support when needed.
- Administer core systems including CRMS (health information), PPM (policies), Microsoft GP Dynamics, and Office 365 tools (e.g., Smartsheet, SharePoint).
- Track IT assets through asset management systems.
- Engage and coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure deliverables are met.
- Train IT personnel and end-users on systems, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain IT documentation, including network topology and policies.
- Support organizational compliance by completing required corporate training.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Education
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in a technical field such as Information Technology.
Work Experience
- 5 years of technical experience managing and administering Azure AD accounts, Office 365 support, and Microsoft Windows 10/11 computer deployments in a multi-site organization.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Management of WLAN and LAN networks (HP, Cisco), Active Directory, Office 365, VPN, SD-WAN, Phone Systems, VoIP.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills when working with staff, IT personnel, or vendors.
- Hands-on experience administering or supporting various business applications such as SharePoint, CRM, HRIS, Health Systems, ERP, or equivalent.
- Experience leading the implementation, upgrade, installation, and fixes of hardware and software systems.
- Excellent problem-solver. Able to analyze issues and opportunities and offer solutions.
- Detail-oriented as it relates to documentation, following procedures, training staff, remediating, and preventing issues.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Works extensively at a desk using a computer and telephone up to 7 hours a day.
- The position works primarily weekdays and may require occasional evening and weekend shifts depending on operational needs.
- Travel to satellite offices is to be required.
This position reports to the Senior Director, Information Technology.
