Assistant Manager – Papa John’s Pizza
We are looking for a motivated and responsible Assistant Manager to join our Papa John’s Pizza team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, restaurant experience, and the ability to support daily store operations while maintaining excellent customer service and food quality standards.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily restaurant operations and team supervision
- Prepare pizzas and ensure food quality standards are maintained
- Manage closing procedures including cash count and daily reports
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and controlling food costs
- Help with staff scheduling and team coordination
- Train and support new employees
- Handle customer concerns and complaints professionally
- Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and company standards
- Support the store manager with achieving sales and operational goals
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the food service/restaurant industry
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic food cost, labour cost, inventory control, and restaurant operations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have a valid Food Safety Certificate
- Must be reliable, organized, and able to lead a team
