Responsibilities:
· Perform high-quality B-Pressure welding in accordance with company and industry standards.
· Read and interpret engineering drawings, weld procedures, and specifications.
· Complete pipe welding using FCAW and GMAW processes.
· Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
· Use overhead cranes and material handling equipment.
· Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area.
· Support production schedules while maintaining excellent workmanship.
· Assist with additional shop duties as required.
Weld Test Requirements
Applicants must successfully complete the following weld test:
· MIG Root
· Flux Core Fill and Cap
· 6" Schedule 80 Pipe
· 6G Position
Qualifications:
· Journeyperson B-Pressure Welder Certification.
· Valid CWB FCAW (All Position) tickets.
· Strong mechanical aptitude.
· Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
· Reliable transportation.
· Experience using hand and power tools.
· CSA-approved steel-toe boots (minimum 6-inch ankle coverage).
· Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
· Commitment to safe work practices.
· Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Preferred
· Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or machine shop environment
· Overhead crane experience
· Industrial welding experience
Preferred Safety Certifications
· CSTS (Construction Safety Training System)
· WHMIS 2015
· Fall Protection
· Aerial Work Platform
