We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching English Language and English Literature, with the ability to engage students of various ages and backgrounds. Duties
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans focused on English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
- Incorporate technology and Microsoft Office tools to enhance instructional delivery.
- Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and informal evaluations; provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and participate in professional development activities.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, motivation, and effective communication skills among students.
- Work with children and young learners, including early childhood education settings when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in English; bilingual abilities in French or other languages are a plus.
- Prior classroom experience teaching English or tutoring students in language arts.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience working with children is desirable.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and basic computer skills for lesson planning and administrative tasks.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple classes or sessions.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with individuals of diverse backgrounds and learning needs.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
