About the Position
We are looking for an experienced and engaging SAT tutor to join our team. We are open to candidates who specialize in SAT English (Reading & Writing), SAT Math, or both.
The ideal candidate is not only knowledgeable about the SAT, but also fun, personable, and able to make students feel comfortable and motivated while learning. We are looking for someone who can turn challenging concepts into clear, understandable, and enjoyable lessons.
Responsibilities
- Teach SAT English (Reading & Writing) and/or Math
- Help students understand SAT question types, strategies, and test-taking techniques
- Develop lessons based on each student's strengths, weaknesses, and goals
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Help students build confidence and improve their SAT scores
- Create an engaging and positive learning environment
Qualifications
- Previous SAT tutoring or teaching experience required
- Strong knowledge of the current SAT format and College Board standards
- Strong academic background in English, Math, or both
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, responsible, and reliable
- Energetic, personable, and able to make lessons fun and engaging
- Experience working with high school students is preferred

You do not need to teach both sections. We are happy to consider:
- SAT English specialists
- SAT Math specialists
- Teachers who can teach both English and Math

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
