Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as General Laborers. In this vital role, you will contribute to the smooth operation of manufacturing facilities by performing a variety of manual tasks that support production, assembly, and warehouse functions. Your hands-on approach will help ensure safety, efficiency, and quality across all operations. Responsibilities
- Assist in meat processing operations (handling, cutting, grinding, stuffing, hanging).
- Support the setup and breakdown of manufacturing lines, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices (hand washing, PPE, allergen control)
- Work standing for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work spaces to identify potential safety hazards.
- Comply with CFIA, HACCP, and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing materials, and waste.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines.
Experience
- Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly processes is highly desirable.
- Warehouse experience involving material handling equipment plus; certification is a benefit but not mandatory.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with manufacturing machinery enhances your ability to perform effectively in this role.
- Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
