Surgical Treatment Coordinator position available at a downtown Vancouver specialty (periodontic) dental clinic with the following benefits:

This job is ideal for someone who:
- holds a current licence as a Certified Dental Assistant in BC
- has experience as a specialty care coordinator for a dental surgery clinic
- can confidently discuss surgical treatment plans, procedures and finances in ways that feel informative and supportive
- communicates in a professional and persuasive manner
- is proficienct in verbal and written English correspondence
- brings warmth, patience, and confidence to every interaction
- is highly organized, dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Responsibilities:
- Explain treatment procedures and financial requirements clearly and comfortably
- Enter accurate chart notes, tracking treatment progress and scheduling appointments with ClearDent
- Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with understanding their coverage
- Capture digital dental imaging (including CBCT and IOS scans)
- Respond to patient inquiries and appointment requests in a prompt, polite and professional manner
- Ensure timely delivery of treatments and follow-up care
- Order and organize surgical supplies for scheduled procedures
- Maintain a welcoming and calm environment
- Conduct post-care appointments
- Draft and send reports and requisitions
- Assist with administrative duties including patient check-in, financial transactions, email and phone correspondence
Preferred:
- previous experience in a surgical dental office
- minimum 2 years of treatment coordination for a specialty dental clinic
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
