TutorBright is hiring an in-home Grades 8-10 Math Tutor-Mentor in Oakville to support students with their math skills, confidence, and preparation for success in high school.
We are looking for an experienced, highly qualified educator with a strong background in teaching math who can provide personalized support and adapt their approach to each student's needs. Must be a Certified Teacher, B.Ed. graduate, or current B.Ed. student.

Hours and Commitment

What We're Looking For
- Strong knowledge of Grades 8-10 Math
- Significant math teaching or tutoring experience
- Must be a Certified Teacher, B.Ed. graduate, or current B.Ed. student.
- Experience helping students strengthen foundational math skills and prepare for high school-level math
- Ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly and adapt instruction to individual students
- Strong communication and mentoring skills
- Must be able to travel independently to students' locations in Oakville

- Experience teaching math in a school or classroom setting
- Experience supporting students transitioning into secondary school
- Experience supporting students with different learning needs and learning styles
