Marketing/Social Media Coordinator
Position Summary
The Marketing Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and coordination of marketing initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, generate leads, engage customers, and support business growth. This role works closely with the sales, leadership, and external partners to ensure campaigns and communications are delivered accurately, consistently, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Campaign Coordination
- Coordinate the execution of marketing campaigns across digital, print, email, social media, and other channels.
- Maintain marketing calendars, timelines, campaign schedules, and project trackers.
- Assist with campaign planning, implementation, and post-campaign reporting.
- Coordinate promotional activities, events, vendor marketing, webinars, and other marketing initiatives.
- Ensure marketing materials align with brand standards and organizational objectives.
Content & Communications
- Create, edit, and coordinate marketing content, including website copy, email communications, social media posts, newsletters, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate content production with internal teams, designers, agencies, and other vendors.
- Maintain and update website and digital content as required.
- Support the development of customer communications and promotional campaigns.
Digital & Social Media
- Schedule and publish content across relevant social media platforms.
- Monitor engagement, audience activity, and campaign performance.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including list management, scheduling, testing, and reporting.
- Support basic search engine optimization (SEO), digital advertising, and online marketing initiatives.
Marketing Operations
- Maintain organized marketing files, databases, contact lists, and digital assets.
- Coordinate relationships with vendors, agencies, printers, and other marketing partners.
- Track project budgets, invoices, and marketing expenditures.
- Assist with procurement of promotional materials and marketing resources.
- Ensure projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
Analytics & Reporting
- Collect and analyze marketing performance data.
- Prepare regular reports on campaign results, website activity, social media engagement, email performance, and lead generation.
- Identify trends and opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate marketing metrics and dashboards.
Team Collaboration
- Work collaboratively with sales, customer service, product, operations, and leadership teams.
- Provide marketing support for internal initiatives and business priorities.
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and marketing-related communications.
- Contribute ideas for new campaigns, content, promotions, and customer engagement opportunities.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, communications, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Familiarity with email marketing, website content management, CRM, and analytics platforms is an asset.
- Basic knowledge of marketing principles, branding, SEO, and campaign measurement.
