Summary
We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Greenworks Building Supply. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional customer service while assisting clients with their home improvement needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection and inquiries.
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, policies, and product offerings to enhance customer experience.
- Process transactions accurately using the POS system and handle cash management effectively.
- Assist in merchandising displays to promote products and improve store aesthetics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth operation of the sales floor.
- Engage with customers to understand their renovation needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Participate in inventory management and restocking of merchandise as needed.
- Open and close the store
- Paint Mixing and Colour Matching
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service roles.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- 1 year Paint store or Flooring experience
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling is preferred.
- Able to lift 50lbs
