Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently in accordance with physicians’ orders and legal regulations
- Provide expert consultation to patients and healthcare providers regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Ensure proper medication administration procedures are followed, especially in acute care and pediatric settings
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient medication records while adhering to confidentiality standards
- Monitor patient responses to prescribed therapies and make recommendations for adjustments when necessary
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and review treatment plans that include medication management
- Stay current with new pharmaceutical developments, guidelines, and best practices in patient care
- Educate patients on proper medication use, storage, and potential adverse effects to promote safety and compliance
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration protocols
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient care and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ability to work accurately under pressure in fast-paced healthcare settings
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with industry standards
- Chinese speaking preferred
