The Opportunity:
The City of St Albert Emergency Services department is seeking to fill a term Records Management Clerk opportunity.

As a Records Management Clerk you will properly manage the daily information and records being input into the Police Reporting Occurrence System (PROS) and provide a variety of general administrative duties in support of officers and co-workers.

The individual we seek has strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, the ability to work independently and a high level of initiative.

Qualifications:
  • At minimum, a high school diploma combined with one year of previous administrative experience, preferably in an RCMP or police office environment.
  • A working knowledge of word processing programs (Word Perfect and MS word), spreadsheets, power-point, transcription software, upload/download of audio/video and scanning of documents.
  • The individual must possess a thorough working knowledge of PROS and be operating at an “Information Manager” level.
Hours of Work:
72 hours bi-weekly. Shift work is required.

Compensation:
$51,977 - $63,238 per annum ($27.77 - $33.78 per hour). In addition, the City of St. Albert offers a comprehensive benefit package.

TERM:
Anticipated start date of September 2019 to approximately September 2020. This is a term position covering a leave, and therefore the term is subject to early return of the incumbent on leave.

This position is represented by the CUPE 5141 Collective Agreement.
