WHO WE ARE:
Raymond EMC Enclosures Ltd. designs, manufactures, installs, and tests RF shielded enclosures, anechoic chambers, and RF shielded components for high-tech and government facilities.
We’re looking for a hands-on Logistics Coordinator to manage inbound and outbound shipping activities and help keep materials, products, and timelines moving smoothly.
In this role, you’ll coordinate shipments, work with carriers and brokers, maintain accurate shipping documentation, and support production by ensuring materials arrive on time and finished products are shipped efficiently.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Location: 812 Burton Road in Vars
Compensation: $28 - $32 per hour, based on experience
Security Clearance Requirement
This role requires eligibility for a Government of Canada Level II (Secret) clearance. Candidates must be able to provide a full 10-year background history (residency, employment, and education), and consent to criminal, credit, and security checks.
Please note that individuals with limited Canadian residency history or significant time spent outside of Canada may experience longer processing times, which could impact eligibility for this position.

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, supply chain coordination, or a similar role.
- Experience coordinating inbound and outbound shipments in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with internal teams, suppliers, carriers, and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow up on details, and resolve issues quickly.
- Basic to intermediate computer skills, including email, Excel, and tracking systems.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing, production, shipping, or operations environment.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Willingness to complete a criminal background check upon hire.
- Ability to obtain a Level II (Secret) Government of Canada Security Clearance.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience working in a custom job shop or high-mix manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with freight carriers, shipment tracking, and freight cost management.
- Experience with customs brokers, duties, tariffs, or HS code classification.
- Familiarity with inventory coordination, material planning, or production flow.
- Experience supporting process improvements, system updates, or logistics workflow improvements.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills related to shipment delays, logistics issues, or material flow disruptions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Schedule and manage carriers, pickups, deliveries, and shipment timelines.
- Track shipments and proactively follow up on delays, issues, or changes.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and related paperwork.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams to keep shipments moving smoothly.
- Maintain and update logistics tracking tools, shipment records, and related documentation.
- Work closely with production and shipping/receiving to ensure materials and finished goods move efficiently through the operation.
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs, improve shipment flow, and increase efficiency.
- Work with customs brokers to review duties, tariffs, charges, and HS code classifications to support accuracy, cost control, and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics, shipping, and material flow.
