About the Role:
We are seeking 3 dedicated and reliable Level II Dental Assistant to join our friendly and professional dental team in beautiful Shoal Harbour, Newfoundland and Labrador. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
- Provide excellent patient care and support
Qualifications:
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant (NL certification required)
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience is considered an asset but not required
