The Coordinator, Recruitment, Outreach and Community Engagement manages the administration, coordination and evaluation of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences' (FASS) student recruitment and outreach programs, and public events which offer a broad range of faculty and departmental programming to non-university populations. The Coordinator provides leadership in the development and implementation of strategies to improve the pipeline of qualified and diverse students into the Faculty's undergraduate programs; and to extend humanities and social science education to the community. The role coordinates marketing, administration, design, delivery and evaluation activities of outreach programs while establishing and maintaining working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders. The Coordinator facilitates a variety of projects, including program evaluations. The Coordinator administers and manages program and event budgets and participates in the annual budget development process by preparing cost projections, administering expenditures, and studying and projecting potential revenue from outreach initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Arts, Social Sciences or Humanities, Business or equivalent, and four years of related experience including community/industry engagement, program development, external relations management, budget management, event management, marketing and communication, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheet, database and online and multimedia technologies including standard information systems and content management systems (e.g., Word, Excel, FileMaker, AEM).
Ability to arrange suitable transportation to various work locations.
