Purpose of the Job:
The Media Manager, Digital Advertising provides subject matter expertise on digital media strategies, execution and optimizations that deliver on marketing and sales goals. Working closely with internal and external partners to ensure highly efficient delivery on targets and within defined budgets. This role is responsible to support the overall performance of digital media practices as it relates to execution and optimization of Search, Display, Video and Social campaigns. This individual will be responsible for developing media plans and ensuring innovative solutions are continuously prioritized. The role requires expertise in media reporting, data harmonization, analysis, as well as the ability to develop meaningful insights. A deep understanding of core campaign management tools and the ability to navigate and leverage those tools to the fullest of their ability.

Specifically this role will execute all advertising campaign for Meridian CU and also for a new national direct bank that will be launching shortly. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Advertising & Media.

Key Responsibilities:
Support overall media campaign strategies & tactic development
Build and maintain campaign reporting
Build, develop, launch, and optimize all ad campaigns
Consistently deliver opportunities to drive stronger performance
Suggest and execute test & learn tactics
Collaborate closely with key internal partners as well as the internal creative team to drive a cohesive vision and integrated campaigns.
Collaborate with Web Analysts on reporting & tagging when needed
Support the Senior Manager in defining and evolving key performance indicators (KPIs) that can be tied to business & strategic objectives
Constantly provide creative best practices and feedback to drive high-performing advertising campaigns.
Leverage emerging platforms to identify and engage with known and new audiences.
Investigate and build new media partnerships as part of the ongoing test and learn and optimization strategies.
Implementation and continued rollout/integration of current and future tools and capabilities in support of digital media buying and management (Google Adwords, DoubleClick, native social platform media tools etc)
Support Senior manager in developing forecast documentation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
5+ years’ experience in executing search, social, display and video campaigns
Strong understanding of media partners and publishers in the current Canadian Marketplace

5+ years’ experience working with Google Campaign tools such as AdWords and DoubleClick Campaign Manager

2+ years experience in programmatic campaign management

Some knowledge of Enterprise Analytics tools e.g., Google 360, Adobe Analytics (Omniture), IBM Analytics (Coremetrics), WebTrends, etc.

Proven ability to develop recommendations and actionable insights from the data

Experience in developing reports and dashboards

Experience with measurement and managing sales focused campaigns through tag manager tool such as Tealium IQ, Google Tag Manager

Experience identifying and executing optimization efforts i.e. A/B, multivariate testing

Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills
