Accident Support Services International (ASSI) is the official collision reporting centre partner for Police Services across Canada. Since 1994, we have provided professional collision management services in collaboration with Police, insurance companies, and private enterprise.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a reliable, professional, and customer‑focused Part‑Time Customer Service Representative to join our team in the Peel Region, supporting the Brampton Collision Reporting Centre located at 499 Main Street.
This role requires strong availability and flexibility. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working approximately 20-35 hours per week, with shifts scheduled during evenings, and weekends/holidays, based on operational needs.
Hours of operation include:
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Weekends: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Candidates must be available to work evenings and weekends/holidays and able to adjust their schedules as required. The Centre is very busy, and additional or shifted hours may be needed depending on volume.
This is a hands‑on, active position where you will assist members of the public who have been involved in motor vehicle collisions. Your responsibilities will include preparing collision reports, guiding individuals through the first steps of the insurance process, and photographing damaged vehicles outdoors in all weather conditions. You will also support drivers using our self‑assist kiosks, which requires standing for extended periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, assess their needs, and direct them accordingly
- Respond to telephone inquiries and transfer calls as required
- Explain driver reporting requirements for Police and insurance purposes
- Verify required documentation (driver’s licence, ownership, insurance)
- Interview drivers to collect accurate collision details
- Prepare collision reports using customized software for Police, Insurance, and the Ministry of Transportation
- Retrieve, scan, and file reports and documentation
- Photograph vehicle damage and upload images to reports
- Assist drivers with the initial steps of insurance reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
You’re a Great Fit If You Have:

- A valid driver’s licence and solid understanding of the rules of the road
- 1–2 years of customer service or retail experience (data entry is an asset)
- Ability to pass additional background checks, including a criminal record check (may take up to 6 weeks)
- Strong keyboarding, customer service, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Capacity to manage shifting priorities in a busy, high‑pressure environment
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to support individuals during stressful situations

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $18.50 per hour
