The Canoe Trip Leaders (formerly ‘guides’) are out on flat-water canoe trips most of the summer. They average between 30 and 40 days on the water each summer. When in camp, the guides are assigned duties ranging from acting as Cabin Counsellors, to helping in the Trip Room and/or helping at in camp Activities and Program. Canoe Trip Leaders work with Counsellors and C.I.T.s to provide a safe, challenging, and memorable experience. Strong canoe tripping skills and a knack for building and maintaining a positive group dynamic are a must. A current Bronze Cross and Wilderness First Aid are required as well as previous tripping experience.

Compensation varies depending on experience. All positions include room, board, laundry and use of facilities.
