We are looking for a Full Time Houseperson / Janitor to work overnight shifts - where exceptional guest experiences begin with care, safety, and attention to every detail — even after hours.
Overview

Our Overnight Housepersons play a vital role in maintaining the overall appearance of the hotel, ensuring public areas, guest corridors, and back-of-house spaces are welcoming, safe, and spotless. What You’ll Do
- Maintain and clean public areas such as lobbies, restrooms, fitness rooms, pool areas, and elevators.
- Keep back-of-house spaces — including staff changing rooms and common areas — clean and organized.
- Patrol guest floors, removing garbage, recycling, and used linens while addressing any safety or maintenance concerns.
- Support guests and team members by completing requests promptly (e.g., delivering cribs, cots, microwaves, or restocking supplies).
- Assist the laundry team with washing, drying, and organizing when needed.
- Report lost and found items, unusual circumstances, and maintenance issues.
- Maintain linen rooms and stock carts for Room Attendants.
- Provide information to guests about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Respond to guest concerns with professionalism and follow through until resolved.
- Follow all health, safety, and WHMIS protocols, including proper use of chemicals and protective equipment.
- Support teammates with additional projects and tasks as assigned
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership.
What You Bring
- Previous janitorial, housekeeping, or similar experience (1 year preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently overnight.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a professional appearance.
- Physically able to push/pull carts, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, kneel, and remain on feet for extended periods.
- WHMIS certification is an asset (training can be provided).
Working Conditions
- Overnight shifts (11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) with availability on weekends and holidays.
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Active, physically demanding work environment requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Use of cleaning agents and protective equipment.
