As a Front Desk Receptionist you will be responsible for creating a great customer experience while supporting the day-to-day operations of the facility. This role combines customer service, sales, scheduling, and other administrative responsibilities.
This is a part-time position. Candidates must have previous sales experience.
Key Details:
- Pay: $18-$20 per hour, with high commission opportunities.
- Hours: 10-20 hours per week
- Schedule: Hours will vary based on the following schedule:
- Weekdays 4:30pm-9:30pm
- Weekends 10:00am-3:00pm.
- Interviews: Beginning the first week of September
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers and members, providing friendly and professional front desk service
- Answer and respond to phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries
- Book trial classes and follow up with prospective customers to encourage attendance
- Follow up with trial participants and convert trials into memberships
- Promote and sell memberships, programs, and merchandise
- Process membership payments, including monthly membership payments
- Follow up on expired memberships and encourage members to renew
- Follow up with members whose contracts are approaching completion and encourage them to renew their membership
- Explain membership options, pricing, policies, and benefits to prospective and existing members
- Process transactions accurately and maintain organized customer records
- Keep the front desk, reception, and common areas clean and organized
- Manage multiple tasks and customer requests simultaneously in a busy environment
- Maintain a positive, welcoming, and professional environment for students and families
Requirements:
- Previous sales experience is required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and driven
- Confident and comfortable speaking with customers and making sales
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Excellent multitasking and organization skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive, energetic, and personable attitude
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player
