Functional Responsibility:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinetry Trainee to join our woodworking team. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals interested in learning the craft of cabinet making, including measuring, cutting, assembling, and finishing cabinetry products. The trainee will work under the supervision of the experienced cabinet manufacturing team to develop hands-on skills and industry knowledge.
Principle Duties:
· Assist in the construction and assembly of cabinets, furniture, and wood fixtures
· Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
· Read and interpret design plans, drawings, and measurements
· Measure, cut, shape, and sand wood materials accurately
· Help with installing cabinets at job sites when required
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
· Support finishing tasks such as staining, painting, and polishing
· Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
Required Skills & Attributes
· High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
· Interest in woodworking, carpentry, or cabinet making
· Basic math and measuring skills
· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
· Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
· Physical ability to lift materials and stand for long periods
· Willingness to learn and develop practical skills
· Vehicle required
