We are seeking a Machine Vision & AI Developer to design, develop, and implement machine vision and artificial intelligence solutions for our products. In this role, you will work closely with engineering, software development, and product teams to build robust vision systems that solve real-world industrial automation challenges.

Position: Machine Vision & AI Developer
Location: Mississauga
Salary: $60,000 to 100000/ per year
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine vision and AI-based solutions for industrial automation applications.
- Develop, test, and optimize computer vision algorithms and AI models.
- Build and integrate vision inspection systems using cameras, sensors, lighting, and other machine vision hardware.
- Develop software applications using C# and/or C++.
- Utilize OpenCV and industry-leading machine vision platforms such as Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) and Zebra Aurora Design Assistant (DA).
- Configure and optimize cameras, optics, illumination, and image acquisition systems.
- Troubleshoot and improve machine vision performance in production environments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that meet customer requirements and project timelines.
- Document software, system designs, and technical processes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices in AI and machine vision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent hands-on industry experience will also be considered.
- Strong experience developing Machine Vision and AI applications.
- Experience with OpenCV.
- Experience using Matrox Imaging Library (MIL), Matrox Design Assistant, Zebra Aurora Design Assistant, or similar vision platforms.
- Experience programming in C# and/or C++.
- Strong understanding of industrial machine vision hardware, including:
- Industrial cameras
- Sensors
- Lighting and illumination
- Lenses and optics
- Vision inspection systems
- Knowledge of image processing and computer vision techniques.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
