Qualifications:
- 2+ years previous management experience leading a full-service high-volume restaurant
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evening, weekends, and holidays, with regular availability to work Friday and Saturday evenings.
- Must be available Thanksgiving weekend - October 9 to 12.
- Minimum grade 12 education, additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus
- Possess proven leadership abilities
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and operational management
- Must possess strong leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships and manage staff at all levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic and positive
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and good stress management
License/Certifications:
- Smart Serve (required)
- Food Handler Certification (required)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide and maintain a positive, safe, and energetic environment where all staff work as a highly functioning team
- Monitor staff performance and hold staff accountable for their performance ensuring guests’ experiences meet the highest standards
- Review and monitor staffing levels and overall front and back of house schedules to ensure labour forecasts are being met weekly and daily
- Ongoing training and development for staff at all levels
- Fill in where needed and/or find coverage; must be able to work all roles to ensure guest experience is not affected during scheduling conflicts
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
