Job Summary
The Human Resources Administrator, reporting into the Director of Human Resources, will be responsible for the day-to-day tracking and reporting of employment information, providing recruitment, selection and onboarding support, preparing forms and documents, administration and monitoring of Health Benefits Plan and Disability Management (STD/LTD) and providing assistance primary to the production employees in the business.
Job Duties
- Organising, auditing, cleansing and maintaining HR data across multiple systems, including HRIS and LMS(SuccessFactors), Payroll (ADP) and Time and Attendance (IDT), Health Benefits (Industrial Alliance) and GRSP (Canada Life)
- Taking ownership of the HR data manipulation and reporting, (Headcount, Attendance)
- Streamlining HR processes and helping to manage the HR systems
- Updating employee electronic records
- Preparing HR documents
- Providing an effective support service to end users
- Prepare and deliver onboarding training, paperwork and presentation to new hires
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements, and collect and screen applications;
- Register new employees for Health Benefits, Employee App Administration and assist with employee enquiries
- Track employees on Leave of Absence (LOA) and assist employees with applications for short or long term leave benefits
- Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards;
- Intake and escalation of employee complaints and incidents
Educational Background & Experience Required
- Certificate in Human Resources Management
- Organized and able to prioritize workload with accurate record keeping.
- Motivated self-starter who thrives on challenges
- Knowledge of Provincial and Federal employment legislation including, ESA, OHSA, Human Rights Code etc.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills while maintaining confidentiality.
- 1-2 years experience in human resources
- Experience with data manipulation, HRIS systems, reporting.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, Copilot)
- Ability to work in a busy, fast paced office environment.
