Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Monitor food quality during preparation and presentation to ensure consistency
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service times and customer expectations
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, labeling, and temperature controls
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but willing to train the right canditate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods prefered
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen
- Experience with meal preparation for large or small groups is a plus
- Strong understanding of the food industry and kitchen operations is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction is desirable
