Job Summary
We are seeking motivated and dedicated Kitchen Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting daily food operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong work ethic, contributing to a welcoming and efficient kitchen atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist in meal preparation and food presentation to ensure consistency and freshness
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety regulations
- Support food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste
- Serve dishes to customers or assist serving staff as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours
Experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling procedures is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is a plus
- Previous kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is desirable
- Strong understanding of food service operations and customer service principles will be beneficial
